Clark County’s Board of County Councilors is seeking applicants to fill three positions on the Public Facilities District board of directors.

The county created the Public Facilities District in 2002 to help with the development of regional centers such as the convention center in Vancouver and exhibition hall at the Clark County Fairgrounds.

The board meets at 4 p.m. on the first Monday of February, May, August and November at the Clark County Public Service Center in Vancouver. Board members receive $50 per day while attending meetings.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest and résumé to Jennifer Clark, Board of County Councilors, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666. Letters and résumés are due by 5 p.m. Feb. 11.

Applicants should describe their knowledge and experience in tourism, marketing, events and promotion, hotels and convention centers, facility operations and finance and economic development, according to the county.
