Letter: Homeowners association troubles

The Columbian
Published: January 22, 2015, 4:00pm

Homeowners association issues. I’ve got an HOA with a defunct pool, too (Letters, “Read details of HOA before signing,” Jan. 15). If the homeowners voted as a group to not fund any repairs, then where has all the money gone from dues since 2007? Does it always take a lawsuit to get things back on track? We have our founding documents. RCW 64:38 does not apply to us and most folks are burned up about any of the HOA processes, including voting.

Bummer. I was hoping we could draw together and have a community garden where that hole is.
