Published: January 27, 2015, 4:00pm

Clark County — Vancouver Clinic employees will be allowed to wear blue jeans to work on Friday in exchange for a donation to the National Women’s Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation, a nonprofit which works to inform, educate and prevent violence and exploitation against women and children.

It’s part of the clinic’s Denim Day, a quarterly event where the Vancouver Clinic’s Charitable Contributions Committee picks a local charity to raise money for, and asks employees to donate at least $5 to the charity in exchange to wear jeans to work. The Vancouver Clinic also matches up to $1,000 in donations for each Denim Day.
