County to issue sale permits for fireworks

Vancouver — The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office will issue at least four permits for the sale of fireworks through a lottery on Feb. 13. The office is currently accepting applications for the permits.

Applications for the permit lottery are available at the fire marshal’s office, 505 N.W. 179th St.. in Ridgefield, or online at www.clark.wa.gov/development/fire/documents/lottery.pdf. The county will accept only one application per person or organization.

Lottery permit applications must be received by the fire marshal’s office by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6. Applications can be dropped off in person or faxed to the office at 360-397-2076. Mailed applications should be addressed to the Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office, 505 N.W. 179th St., Ridgefield, WA 98642.
