Fire damaged a duplex in Vancouver’s Rose Village neighborhood late Wednesday afternoon.

The fire was reported at 3:56 p.m. at 3510 P St. Firefighters with the Vancouver Fire Department were called to the residence and quickly put out the fire.

The fire caused an estimated $120,000 damage to the building and its contents, said Vancouver Fire Marshal Heidi Scarpelli. The renters did not have renters insurance, she said.

Investigators are still interviewing people to determine the exact cause of the fire. The Red Cross was asked to assist the residents.
