Vancouver iTech Preparatory is the recipient of the 2015 Student Engagement Award presented by the Washington State Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.

The award recognizes schools where students are actively engaged in learning and are connected to the school and broader community. The magnet program in Vancouver Public Schools engages students through problem-based, project-based and practice-based approach to learning about science, technology, engineering and math.

Principal Christina Iremonger will accept the award at a district event in the fall.
