Fire investigators worked Wednesday to try to determine what caused a brush fire near Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park.

The Vancouver Fire Department was called to 9612 N.W. Lower River Road on Tuesday night for a reported brush fire. A helicopter and firefighters from Clark County Fire District 6 helped put out the blaze.

Vancouver Fire Marshal Heidi Scarpelli said that the fire damaged about 4 acres of vegetation and a barn in the area. Her office hadn’t released information about the cause of the fire as of Wednesday.
