Central Park — Clark College’s Economic and Community Development program held its first Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Camp for middle school students recently. Clark instructors, college students and volunteers from the Mature Learning program offered intergenerational, innovative exploratory and exciting learning experiences, covering topics in astronomy, astrophysics, engineering and geology. Students participated in hands-on activities such as agility tests that astronauts must pass, lining up planet models across campus and building electrical circuits and model bridges.
