Ridgefield — Madelynn Snoozy won a silver medal in the equestrian sport of eventing at the North American Junior Young Riders Championships, held July 14-19 in Lexington, Ky.
Madelynn, 15, started riding horses when she was 4, and started competing in eventing when she was 7.
She’s currently a home-schooled high school freshman and hopes to work in the medical field, possibly as a nurse.
