Letter: City leaders not setting example

The Columbian
Published: July 28, 2015, 5:00pm

I find it odd that The Columbian is reporting about people not watering their lawns in the city. It’s been my observation that only one park is watered in this town — that’s poor leadership on the part of people who run this city. The parks are certainly no example for the rest of the populous who live and own homes here.

I traveled through much of eastern Washington this summer and all the small towns had beautiful green parks and green lawns for the majority of their population.

I do water my yard daily.
