Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School celebrates Friendship Day

Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School will celebrate International Friendship Day in an all-school assembly at 1:30 p.m. June 12 at the school, 2921 Falk Road. The school’s students hail from 42 countries and speak 24 languages.

The free, public celebration will include students performing dances from Mexico, Russia, Greece, Africa, Polynesia, India, Indonesia and the United States. Students will be recognized for building international friendships and being school ambassadors. The flags of 42 countries will be presented.
