Vancouver chamber to host open house for small firms

Small businesses are invited to learn about helpful services during the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Resource Open House, to be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the chamber’s office, 1101 Broadway, Suite 100 in Vancouver.

The event, which is free, offers attendees an opportunity to meet business mentors with the SCORE Association, and to learn about services offered by the Small Business Development Center, WSU Vancouver MAP program, the Building Industry Association and others.

The event also will feature information about the demographic databases available from the Fort Vancouver Regional Library, government contracting and financing resources.
