Letter: The people’s man is Boldt

I vote for liberal democrats. In fact, I am so progressive that I’m a Baha’i: one for all, all for one and your neighbor before yourself. Other than voting, I stay out of politics, but I do pay attention.

During his years in county government, Marc Boldt has shown himself to be a public servant in the public interest. More concerned with doing what is best for the people of Clark County than upholding any ideology, he has proven willing to say, “I don’t understand,” then to listen, read and learn. Apart from running for office, he never promoted himself. He just did his job well. I voted for him the last time he ran and I’ll vote for him again for chair of the county council. Boldt has shown himself to be the people’s man.
