SEATTLE (AP) — Police in Seattle say a woman reported that a ride-share driver dragged her behind his car when she tried to get him to return the phone she left in the vehicle.
The woman told police the driver dropped her at home early Saturday. When she realized she had left her phone in the car, she called it and the driver answered. Police say he initially refused to return the phone but then said he would if she would have sex with him.
The woman persuaded the driver to return to her home, met him on the street and reached into his car, trying to retrieve her phone. She says he drove off, dragging her a short distance. She reported cuts on her legs and arms — and no phone.
Detectives are investigating.
