FELIDA — The Felida Neighborhood Association is getting ready to hold its annual neighborhood parade and party.

In partnership with the Hazel Dell-Salmon Creek Business Association and other supporters, Felida folks have been putting on a huge children’s parade on the Fourth of July for years. This year’s events will be in Felida Community Park only.

Organizers are inviting everyone to enjoy the parade and an old-fashioned picnic lunch as well as educational and community displays in the park afterward. The Vancouver Community Concert Band will play and lead the parade.

The event is set for 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4 at Felida Community Park; the parking lot is just west of Northwest 36th Avenue off 122nd Street. Some refreshments will be available, but bring your own lunch, lawn chairs and other picnic supplies.

For more information, contact Milada Allen at 360-573-4030 or Rebecca Lillie at 503-348-5492.
