Letter: Eliminate waste of director salary

The Columbian
Published: June 15, 2015, 12:00am

I read in the June 8 Political Beat column that Sen. Don Benton, R-Vancouver, is opposed to any proposal that would waste taxpayer money. I know he was referring the Interstate 5 Bridge but if he is so interested in saving taxpayer money, why doesn’t he give up his cushy job as director of Clark County’s environmental services and eliminate the department?
