SHORELINE — Police in Shoreline say a 22-year-old woman who was driving her car naked crashed into a utility pole and knocked out power to more than 4,400 customers.

KOMO-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1dOfa6g) that the crash happened at about 2 a.m. Friday.

A police sergeant patrolling the area heard the crash and found the car with a naked woman inside. Medics took her to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash knocked out power to more than 4,000 Seattle City Light customers. Crews repaired the damage and restored electrical service to most homes by 3:45 a.m.

Police say they suspect drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
