Salmon Creek — The annual Mr./Ms. Skyview Pageant raised a record $94,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation on April 25. The event signaled the completion of a three-month fundraising drive, where 30 students, split up into 15 teams of two, competed to raise money for the foundation. The pageant featured a talent portion, formal wear section and group performances. The $94,000 is the highest total raised in the history of the event, according to Sydney Miles, Skyview’s senior class president and organizer of the event.
