Clark College seeks outstanding alumni

The Clark College Alumni Association is seeking alumni who have contributed exceptional service to the college and the community and who have attained personal and professional achievement.

Nominations are being accepted for the 2015 Outstanding Alumni Award and for a new category, the Rising Star Alumni Award for those 35 and younger who have achieved early success in career or community service. Submission deadline is July 31. Submit a nomination online or contact Vivian Cheadle Manning at vmanning@clark.edu or 360-992-2104.

Past award recipients include Joanne Kendall, founder of Open House Ministries, state Sen. Al Bauer Jr., Earth Day organizer Denis Hayes, disaster relief nurse Rico Selga, and educator Patricia Wirth.

This year’s recipient will be honored at Clark’s Alumni-Student Dinner Nov. 5.
