Letter: Heed Netanyahu’s warning

Jewish people all over the world enacted the holiday named Purim, the story of Queen Esther and Haman, the evil adviser to the King of Persia (today’s Iran). Haman, the evil adviser (today’s Ayatollah) wanted all the Jewish people killed (Hitler’s “Final Solution”). In the end, the evil Haman ended up at the end of a rope, and we all know what happened to Hitler. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the story as he addressed Congress on March 3, as a reminder that evil (the nuclear bomb) is almost in the hands of the Ayatollah of Iran to unleash destruction upon Israel and the West.

It is up to America, Netanyahu said, to stop nuclear proliferation in the wrong hands. I pray that our president would heed the warning.
