Detectives are again asking for the public’s help in identifying the person who stole a white 2008 Ford F-350 pickup truck and then caused a hit-and-run crash last week in Washougal.

The truck was stolen from the 1500 block of Northwest 34th Avenue in Camas sometime between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. March 4, according to Washington State Patrol.

It was involved in a collision with a Jeep Cherokee on state Highway 14 at 32nd Street in Washougal just before 4 p.m., Trooper Will Finn said. A teenage passenger in the Jeep was injured, but has since been released from an area hospital.

Shortly after the crash, investigators located the stolen truck at the intersection of E Street and 22nd Street in Washougal, but have not been able to locate or identify the driver.

Anyone with knowledge about the vehicle theft or collision is asked to call Detective Jennifer Ortiz at 360-449-7948.
