PORTLAND — The Multnomah County sheriff’s office is investigating the death of an inmate at the Multnomah County Detention Center.
The sheriff’s office says the inmate was found unresponsive during a routine security check Saturday afternoon. An initial investigation indicates that foul play was not involved.
The inmate’s name was not released Saturday night.
The Multnomah County medical examiner’s office is looking into cause of death.
