Central Vancouver — Members of the Vancouver Fire Department, wearing their gear, raced up 69 flights of stairs in the Columbia Center in Seattle on March 8 as part of the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb.
The Vancouver team not only climbed all 1,311 steps, but also raised $20,316 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The team finished 25th overall out of the 190 competing teams.
