Letter: Decal is asking for trouble

I so agree with Paquita Rupp’s March 17 letter “Targeting teens is unjustifiable.” Placing a decal on a car announcing that there might be a teenage driver is asking for trouble.

If you want to mark vehicles, how about the drivers that have several DUIs, no license, no insurance, run stop signs, pay no attention to speed limits, talk on their phones, etc. I do a lot of walking, see much of this and have been told, even with a license plate number, that I cannot report it. It has to be seen by a law enforcement person.

House Bill 1159 is a mistake. How about spending time passing something that will help our community?
