Vancouver — Vancouver’s Downtown Association was in line to receive recognition today for its downtown improvement efforts at Revitalize WA, the state’s Preservation and Main Street Conference in Bellingham.

Vancouver’s Downtown Association will receive the conference’s Economic Vitality award in recognition of its economic development brochure and video that promote downtown.

The booster organization developed the materials after the state awarded an Innovative Partnership Zone designation to the city to attract more businesses.

The recruitment brochure is an updated and redesigned version of an older brochure, The video tells three stories about living, owning a business, or developing property downtown.
