Van Mall — Clients of Innovative Services NW know the parking lot at 9414 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd. is super tight — especially for an agency that hosts many people with disabilities who can use a little extra maneuvering room.
So the agency is pursuing a plan to expand its parking lot onto an adjacent parcel to the west, adding 54 new stalls and significantly easing the squeeze. Plus, the northern third of the parcel will be a new outdoor recreation area that will include a playground, sports court, a grassy lawn and picnic area.
