State tax workshop May 20 at revenue department site

Vancouver — The state Department of Revenue is hosting a free tax workshop for new and small business owners in Vancouver on May 20.

Workshop participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. They also will receive a workbook and reference guide. Attendees may earn one continuing professional education credit.
