Police identified the Vancouver man injured in Thursday morning’s crash on Interstate 5 near the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds.

Hayden Pichler, 20, was driving north on the freeway when he changed lanes and lost control of his 2002 Dodge Neon. The car went through the guardrail on the right shoulder and rolled down an embankment.

Technical rescue crews had to cut the vehicle off Pichler, who had a fractured femur. Pichler was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. He remained hospitalized Friday, but his condition was not available.
