La Center won the Class 1A District 4 boys soccer championship 2-0 over White Salmon on Saturday.

Goals by Alex Firl and Colton Arends gave the Wildcats the victory at Kalama High School.

Firl opened the scoring by bending a free kick into the top corner of the goal from just outside the penalty area.

As district champ, La Center (14-5) will host a state playoff game midweek against the No. 2 seed from District 3.
