BELLVUE — A Bellevue mother and toddler have been found safe after being last seen on Mother’s Day.

KOMO-TV reports that Nichol Pappas and daughter Emelia Switzer were found unharmed Sunday. Emelia will be placed back with her parents. Pappas was arrested on an unrelated misdemeanor warrant.

The pair went missing last week. Police found them after Pappas texted Emelia’s grandmother. Officers traced the call to a Bellevue home.

Police say they were concerned for the toddler’s safety because Pappas does not have custody and has a history of drug abuse.
