GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Southern Oregon officers have found a man and woman dead in their home after gunfire was heard on a 911 call.

Grants Pass police said it was an apparent murder-suicide.

Two young children found in the home were placed with relatives.

Police say they got a call early Wednesday from a woman who said she was in a disturbance with her husband. The dispatcher was trying to get the location of the call, heard sounds of a struggle over the phone and then heard shots.

A neighbor also called 911 to report shots fired, and gave the location.

Police said they found the bodies of 30-year-old Jessica M. Thompson and 28-year-old Charles J. Perowski.
