Central Vancouver — Innovative Services NW, the Vancouver-based nonprofit group that works with more than 1,300 children and adults facing disabilities and disadvantages, raised $6,220 from 115 donors, including a $1,000 prize from the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington, during Give More 24! Innovative Services set a goal of 75 donors during the daylong giving event. To show their thanks, Innovative staff and residents filmed a video of themselves in zombie makeup dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” For surpassing the donor goal, Matt Herring, vice president of client services, had a pie thrown in his face. Innovative also posted a video of that online.
