NASELLE —A public meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at Naselle High School to discuss future operation of salmon hatcheries on Willapa Bay tributaries.

Officials from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will discuss this year’s salmon returns, then discuss how Naselle hatchery could be affected by the new Willapa Bay salmon policy adopted this summer.

The policy is designed to restore depleted runs of wild chinook in Willapa Bay and its tributaries.

The high school is at 793 State Route 4 in Naselle.
