Battle Ground — Each year, all the coins from Mill Creek Pub’s water wheel are pulled out and donated to charity to celebrate the restaurant’s anniversary. This year, $1,089.61 was pulled from the water wheel.

Local businesses 3 Kings Environmental and Waste Connections matched the total, and so a combined $3,268.83 was donated to the Battle Ground Education Foundation and Battle Ground Mentor Collaborative.
