MARCH OF DIMES NURSE OF THE YEAR

Lacey Anderson of Vancouver, an ambulatory and clinic care nurse with Kaiser Permanente Northwest, was one of 17 nurses from Oregon and Southwest Washington honored at a March of Dimes Nurse of the Year event this month. The nurses were recognized for their constant care, compassion and dedication to improve the quality of others’ lives through service. There were 222 nurses from 20 health organizations and medical centers named as finalists, and the event raised over $71,000 to help fund the mission of improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
