Letter: Trump driven only by profit

I thank god I’m not a Republican.

Donald Trump is proclaiming himself already president. Can you imagine this sexist, racist man with no political knowledge being president? This billionaire, who has never held a political office, who has manipulated, coerced and pillaged his way up the ladder to the top rung, actually believes he is capable of running this nation.

Why would a billionaire want a job with nonstop hassles, crises and turmoil that pays a measly half-million dollars a year? Trump is a man driven only for profit, so he must see a profit in being president. What is it? This is a man who would sell this country to China if they paid him enough.

I will tell you.

You remember the Republicans saying lower taxes to the 1 percent? Well, if Trump becomes president, they will be paying (1 percent) and all the tax loopholes Bill Clinton and President Obama have plugged will fly open and small businesses and the taxpayers will be paying a lot more. And I, on Social Security, will lose my source of income. All the while Trump will be filling his coffers with those tax dollars, laughing at those stupid people who put him in office.

Go ahead and elect Trump. He will make Spiro Agnew and Richard Nixon look like Eagle Scouts.
