Camas man’s condition improves after crash

A Camas man remains hospitalized a week after he was hurt in a crash in Skamania County.

Aaron Hathaway, 29, remains in serious condition at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, an upgrade from his previous condition.

The crash was reported just after 9 a.m. Sept. 30, about a mile north of Dougan Falls on Department of Natural Resources Road 1200, according to the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office. Hathaway was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated before being airlifted to the hospital via Life Flight.
