PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in the parking lot behind a downtown nightclub.
Sgt. Pete Simpson says officers responded late Sunday, and found the body of man who appeared to be in his 30s.
Witnesses described seeing people running from the scene and vehicles being driven away.
The shooting happened in the lot behind Dante’s, a music venue and late-night pizza spot on Burnside Street. It’s across the street from Voodoo Doughnut.
