The Clark County council rescheduled a work session on the preferred alternative of the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan update to Nov. 9.

The work session is open to the public and is scheduled to run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

The work session was originally scheduled for next week.

The council will discuss planning assumptions, including the county’s population forecast.

The county is slated to approve its preferred land-use plan, at its 10 a.m. regular hearing Nov. 24.
