PORTLAND — Authorities recovered a body found floating in the Willamette River near Portland’s Morrison Bridge.
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office says river patrol deputies were dispatched to the scene Sunday night. They found a deceased man just north of the bridge, mid-channel.
The body has been turned over to a medical examiner. The man’s identity won’t be released until his relatives are notified.
