Share is partnering with local businesses to boost donations made on Sept. 24 for a 24-hour giving challenge. Visit any of these businesses, and the proceeds benefit Share, which helps the hungry and homeless.

• Burgerville in Salmon Creek, 13309 N.E. Highway 99, will donate 10 percent of proceeds from sales made between 5 and 8 p.m.

• The Rock Wood Fired Kitchen, 2420 Columbia House Blvd., will donate 10 percent of the day’s sales to Share.

• Ten percent of the day’s proceeds at Fortside Brewing Company, 2200 N.E. Andresen Road, will go to Share.

• Schedule a knife or garden tool sharpening through Keep It Sharpe (503-860-2885 or chad@keepitsharpllc.com) for Sept. 24, and 30 percent of the proceeds will go to Share.

• If you make a donation at any Les Schwab now through Sept. 25, your name will be displayed on a paper house.

Take a selfie at any of these businesses on Sept. 24 and post it to Share’s Facebook page, which enters you into a raffle prize drawing. Also, at 10 a.m. that day, Share will host a tour of the Fromhold Service Center, 2306 N.E. Andresen Road. There will be beverages, snacks and door prizes.
