Letter: Power of office abused

By Roger L. Morley, Vancouver
Published: April 2, 2016, 6:00am

Congratulations to Clark County Planning Director Oliver Orjiako for taking on the bully Councilor David Madore. The bully thinks he can say and do anything he wants. Well, surprise: He finally will have to answer for creating a hostile work environment, and besmirching the name of a loyal and well-respected employee of the county.

The bully alone should be held responsible for his actions, and all court costs and awards should be his alone to pay. He clearly was not representing the people of Clark County when he decided to abuse the power of his office and attack Orjiako.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
