The Sing Fourth Teen Vocal Competition seeks Clark County high school students. Auditions will be granted to the first 45 students who register, with auditions May 14 at Beacock Music. Vancouver Community Concert Band seeks singers ages 17 and older for solos and small ensemble singing, along with audience sing-along leading. Experience is a plus. Art

Clark County Open Studios Tour seeks artists living and working in Clark County for the self-guided studio tour that takes place in November. The juried process will select artists for the tour and preview show at the Esther Short Building. Application deadline is May 31, with a $25 application fee. ccopenstudios.org

The 2016 Congressional Art Competition is open to submissions from high school students in the ninth through 12th grades who reside or attend school in Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Pacific, Wahkiakum, Skamania and Klickitat counties. Hosted by Rep. Jamie Herrera Beutler, the winner will have their artwork displayed at the U.S. Capitol Building, and get airfare to attend the unveiling. Society of Washington Artists seeks submissions for its annual Spring Show and Sale on May 13-15. Artists ages 18 and older can submit up to three pieces of original artwork in any medium and discipline. Artwork can be submitted between 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 11 at the Harley H Hall Building, 10000 N.E. Seventh Ave., Vancouver.
