Major crimes detectives are still learning information about a suspect in a Sunday night shooting at a Vancouver apartment complex.

Vancouver police and Clark County sheriff’s deputies were called to the Springfield Meadow apartments, 4316 N.E. 66th Ave. about 10:20 p.m. for a report of shots fired, police said.

Arriving officers located a 21-year-old man with what appeared to be a gunshot wound, according to Vancouver police.

The man, whose name was not released, was taken to an area hospital for injuries that police described as not life threatening.

Police said they believed the suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival, and no suspect has been identified or arrested. Detectives are continuing their investigating.
