The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In May, the Chemical Dependency Professional Program reinstated the chemical dependency professional credential of Laurie Jane Rust-Ledford. Her license was suspended in 2011 in connection with drug use allegations.

In May, the Chemical Dependency Professional Program charged chemical dependency professional Thomas E. Imig with unprofessional conduct. Charges say Imig didn’t respond to a Department of Health investigator’s inquiry into allegations he didn’t properly maintain client records.

In April, the secretary of health denied an interim certified medical assistant credential to Danesa Ann Knox, whose registered nursing assistant license was suspended in 2009 after she didn’t respond to a statement of charges alleging narcotics diversion.
