Volunteer Connections provides opportunities through the Human Services Council.

• Boomerang is looking for volunteers at the coffee house and re-commerce store to meet and greet customers, stock inventory, and ring up purchases.

• Clark County Veteran’s Assistance Center seeks general assistance volunteer help at the front desk, with sorting donations, and outreach.

• Evergreen School District and Vancouver Public Schools will be looking for classroom assistants, tutors, homework coaches and lunch buddies for the upcoming school year.

• Hands of Favor needs barbers and stylists to cut and style hair. Volunteers must be able to work with a variety of hair lengths, types and textures, and have the ability to recognize problems of the hair and scalp.

• Humane Society for Southwest Washington ReTails Thrift Store seeks bookstore assistants, boutique and clothing production volunteers and truck drivers, as well as help with donations, electronics, home d?cor, repurpose/upcycling and floor sales.

• Lutheran Community Services NW is looking for citizenship class instructors, drivers, ESL instructors, mentors, and program assistants.
