Users of the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 north of Vancouver should plan for two nights of onramp closures in the first half of next week.

Construction crews working for the Washington Department of Transportation will close the Northeast 179th Street onramp to southbound I-5 nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. starting Monday until Wednesday morning to replace concrete panels on the freeway.

The work is part of a larger 10-mile resurfacing project between the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds and the North Fork Lewis River Bridge.
