Local nonprofits and businesses will be recognized at the Nonprofit Network Southwest Washington’s Sept. 8 awards ceremony. The reception is 5 to 7 p.m. at the Heathman Lodge, 7801 N.E. Greenwood Drive.

• The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington and PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center will receive the Excellence in Collaboration Award. PeaceHealth helps the Free Clinic provide medical, dental and preventive care to people without health insurance.

• The Grassroots Impact Award is going to the National Women’s Coalition Against Violence and Exploitation’s Gift of Lift program, which gives bras to women who have experienced traumas such as domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness.

• The Volunteer Program Award honors Share, the nonprofit homeless service provider, which has more than 3,750 volunteers.

• Pacific Continental Bank supports the nonprofit community through contributions, volunteer support and in-kind service. For that effort, the bank earned the Excellence in Community Support Award.

Visit www.nonprofitnetworkwa.org or call 360-735-7110 to learn more about the reception and purchase tickets.
