Leadership Clark County is accepting award nominations through Sept. 20 for its annual leadership awards event. This year’s ceremony is Oct. 26 at the home of the late Ed and Dollie Lynch in Vancouver’s Northwest neighborhood.

Nominations are sought for three awards:

• The Leadership Clark County Outstanding Alumnus Award (honoring someone who has graduated from Leadership Clark County’s program).

• The Community Leadership Award (recognizing somebody who hasn’t been in the program).

• The Business Leadership Award (a new award for a business that promotes community involvement).

Nominations should include the name and contact information for the nominator and the nominee, along with “a brief description of how the nominee demonstrates exemplary community leadership,” Leadership Clark County said in a news release.

Send nominations to Dave Cole at dacole@esd.wa.gov and Katy Myers at kathleen.meyers@clark.wa.gov. Winners will be chosen by a selection committee.
