Free C-Tran shuttle mitigates holiday traffic

The Columbian
Published: December 2, 2016, 6:00am

Portland – C-Tran is operating a free holiday shuttle between Jantzen Beach and Delta Park when traffic conditions delay C-Tran’s Route 60. The bus won’t serve Jantzen Beach when the shuttle is in operation.

Riders may transfer to or from Route 60 at the Delta Park/Vanport MAX station.

The shuttle can be activated any time between now and Dec. 25 as needed. Expected running times are roughly between 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. When operating, the shuttle will run every 15 minutes.

During the holiday season traffic congestion can worsen, especially during the two weeks prior to Christmas.

Anyone with more questions or in need of assistance should contact C-Tran at 360-695-0123.
